Vinegar in the rinse water helps to remove any traces of soap...and it adds great
shine.
Many women add a touch of vinegar to the last rinse when shampooing their own hair.
So long as you don't use so much that the dog (or yourself) smells like a salad, it
will never hurt the dog.
