To Marilyn and List, Not to negate all the suggestions and in light of the fact that an instigating factor was discovered in this puppy, there is a very interesting article in this month's Cavalier Quarters about "possessive agression" in Cavaliers. Despite their generally sweet disposition, Cavaliers can normally show some "temperment" in certain situations, in my limited experience. In addition, however, this article indicates that there may be genetically determined abnormal behavior in certain Cavaliers. Something we must certainly be aware of. Has anyone else heard of this? I know this list has many knowledgeable contributors.
