Theresa,
Ear chewing .... We call it "Ear Envy" in our house. One of my girls has the
most beautiful ears, and it seems as though she wants to be the only one who
does!!!
I have used "Bitter Lime" by Four Paws .... it's ok in the short term, but to
be honest, the best solution I've found is total vigilance, and separation
when you can't be watching them. If you're not already doing so, using a
snood at meal times will keep "leftovers" off the ears and possibly cut down
the temptation to chomp and chew. I have also found that having a few of
those heavy duty rope toys lying around works well too. They tug on the rope
toys, rather than ears! If they are young dogs, you may find it's part of
the puppy stage and that they outgrow it eventually.
Hope this helps some and good luck with your dogs.
