We had severe thunder storms here too and the talk at work today was
that the thunder storms sounded different somehow. Everybody commented on it:
the booms seemed deeper and the noise rolled like listening to an explosion.
We all wondered if it was just us or did the sound seem deeper and more
ominous than usual.
