Hi Gang:
Yesterday my boy Professor Kingsfield won a 4 point major. I was happier
yesterday than any other day that I have shown dogs. Happier even then when I have
won Groups. The reason is that as anyone who saw him as a pup can attest, Professor
Kingsfield was as submissive a pup as any pup could be. He was afraid of his own
shadow. As a result, he was a poor show dog. It took two years of constant work,
but Professor Kingsfield is at least strong enough to win a four point major. So with
enough hard work and dedication, it can be done. The moral of the story: if you
have a submissive dog, work with him or her. Never give up and never give in.
