I wanted to tell the list that "Pie"
turned sweet 16 on August 29th. "Pie" is a daughter of the lovely
Homerbrent Honesty of Craigowl who also produced the Craigowl Champions
"Storm", "Hoodwink " and "Hopscotch.
She went to John and Robert at around 6 months. When being born half her
tail was accidentally pulled off by the vet when being delivered by
forceps!
So we knew we could never show her here but she was very useful for
breeding. John saw her and his eyes lit up. He had to have her. The rest is
history.
"Pie" proved to be a very useful addition to the Ravenrush team. When mated
to Ch Kindrum Archie Tec of Primrose she produced the winning sisters
"Xacta" and "Xanthe" who in turn produced a dynasty of winners including
champions R. Gillespie, R. Xecutrix, R. Wild Orchid, R. Perfecta.
A belated Happy Birthday, "Pie". You have done us proud! A big thank you to
John and Robert for looking after her so well. We entrusted her to their
care all those years ago and no one could have given her more love and
affection, or a better home.
