Dear List, I am not quite caught up on all the posts regarding the similarities between Cavaliers and horses... I must admit to being one of those prior horse people who often looks at a dog and the first thing that may come to mind is "I sure wouldn't want to ride that one" You don't have to have horse experience to understand dog structure, but if you have horses you understand the value of a sound structure and a smooth ride and it is natural to transfer that knowledge to dogs. I try to watch any program on wild canids so I can see the structure that nature thought was best and how I can apply that to my knowledge of domestic dogs. It makes those documentaries a lot more fun to watch:) And if you get the Rhino truck lining commercial in your area-watch the movement on that Rhino-pretty impressive.
