  Patty, having heard some of the things that people have said about other people in 
this breed, and having discovered myself that the statements were untrue, I would say 
that if the person you are talking about didn't make that statement directly to you, I 
wouldn't necessarily believe it.
   Here in Virginia we have someone who has been in the breed a long time, and, at 
least for a while, she made a practice of telling everyone she could that she was the 
only Cavalier breeder in the state who did health tests.  Obviously, that was a lie, 
since even the pet owners I know who don't bother breeding test......
    Some people will say anything, though.
