Greetings, everyone;
Thanks SO MUCH to everyone that expressed an opinion on the
family with the young girls, I really appreciate everyone's thoughts, and
especially those that counciled me to respect my 'gut instinct'!! I'm
afraid that I won't have a baby available for that family, but they haven't
phoned me to say anything, so perhaps they already figured it out on
their own... I'll probably phone to chat with the mom, just to be sure
we're thinking the same thoughts, but I think that all the points raised
about a too-busy mom and the girls being too young are dark yellow
flags, verging on red! I know that *I* could've done it, and there are other
families with very young children that also could make it work, but then
those of us that are... umm... more "doggie" can make things work out
just b'cuz we're oriented towards the dogs as best as anyone can be.
I'm not sure this family would have that advantage, and, no, I won't risk
the baby to find out if they could swing it afterall....
