I was reading in the archives that the topic of good and bad foods has come up. I was
wondering if any of you have had problems with grapes-seeds/seedless etc. The AKC
Gazette had an article warning that grapes may be linked to some serious problems in
dogs such as kidney failure. We live in "wine country" . Our dogs have access to
Cabernet, Merlot, Pinot Thompsons seedless among others. They spend most of the Fall
eating the grapes and or raisins off of our vines. Grapes are also a staple in the
coyote diet. None of our dogs have ever had a problem.

Have any of you fed your dogs grapes? Are grapes included in any natural dog feeding
regimens?

It is mentioned in the article that the cause of the problems could be pesticides or
mold rather than the grapes themselves.

Thanks
Jan Rinker
