Debbie, I've been using it for almost a year. Actually the morning meal is Royal canin natural and the afternoon meal is homemade; raw fruits, veges, missing link, cooked ground brown rice(or potato,sweet or white) and steamed or lightly cooked meat(chicken, beef, liver)and yogurt or cottage cheese. I didn't quite trust myself to be able to hit all the requirements for a homemade balanced canine diet. But I truly believe fresh is good. Royal canin was not in the top 10 the list recently mentioned. But I did some hunting and was very impressed by what is in it and they explain why they chose every ingredient and its benefit. Even my 5 month old is on the adult food. The vet at a major university said that puppy type food was not necessary if you chose a good balanced quality diet. My dogs are doing very well on this diet.
