Hi List, Those of you who know me in person know I struggle with pain management. My right leg was dismembered, fractured in 3 places, and reattached, along with severe neck and back issues.
I have been reading this string with great interest, and would like to share some insights...as well as ask if anyone has had any negative experiences with thier dogs and this treatment. I am on Glucosime, Condroitin and MSM. I , too questioned wether it was worth the investment, and did not see immediate results. However, I now know, after several years on it, that it is indespensible for relubricating the joints. My knees and ankles, or neck, no longer snap from dry joints. I have accupuncture, cupping, spooning, magnesium , malic acid, and massage on a regular basis. NOTHING has been able to touch the pain or swelling. Not Vicodin, not Toredol, not Percoset. Until now... My equine/canine chiropractor was a human one before he delved into the animal practice. He recently purchased a " Chi Gong " machine, which is basically a low frequency energy machine that looks like a flat hair dryer. After 1 treatment, I was pain free, and the treatment lasted 4 days. How do I know it was from that? Because I have never been able to go off pain meds to manage pain. I stopped cold turkey for 4 whole days! If you do not have a practitioner to do this, you may want to buy the machine. I understand it costs about $900.00. Well worth the investment, and so quick, easy, and painless! I might add, I am sure it is an excellent healing agent, as compared to lasers, because I used it on one of my boys who got kicked by my horse, and he is now fully healed. In 3 treatments!
