Sandy, I've always had good service from Delta and Northwest. I'm not so sure about Northwest now, though. I shipped an Australian Shepherd from Indianapolis to Albuquerque yesterday on Delta -- with the crate she was in the 50+ pound range for pricing, so more than for your pooper, but...Northwest wanted $360 for their counter to counter (VIP) service, Delta was $176 for counter-to-counter (Pet First I believe is the new name - it's no longer Delta DASH). Delta had better connections for me as well. Also, be SURE to get an acclimatization statement! I never thought about it since the weather's so great, but they wouldn't take my girl (it was 40 degrees, hardly cold for an Aussie!) until I had my vet fax a statement.
