I was leaving my vet's office this afternoon and a woman chased me down in the parking lot. She introduced herself and reminded me that she had visited my home to see the Cavaliers about two years ago. She told me that she had gotten a blenheim bitch and was absolutely thrilled with her. The only health problem seems to be allergies, but I got indications from our conversation that the dog is poorly socialized. I was curious and asked from whom she got this now 18 month old. She told me that the dog came from England via a woman in Indiana who had gone there and purchased 5 Cavaliers.
Well, my curiosity won't go away and I have a recollection some less than ideal puppy brokerings with an Indiana/UK connection. If anyone remembers the situation I am referring to I would appreciate a private email. The seller of this puppy has a one syllable first and last name. I have invited the woman to bring her puppy to my house for a play day. I don't intend to discuss the puppy's origins but would like to know if she came from where I think she did.
