Yes. When mine go to 2, they sometimes do jump above 5 within 24 hours. 48 to 72 hours is more common, but it is not unusual for it to happen in 24 hours.. I had one dog who did this twice and so did her daughter. However, she did not do it at her 3rd breeding--her season was more *normal* that time--if there is any such thing as normal.
