a hard call Irene. I personally would be hesitant, having had personal experience of Cav's and Terriers. Whilst all may seem ok it doesn't take much to stir up the natural "terrier" spirit. In my own case many years ago I had a Fox Terrier who ran with the Cav's and never put a foot wrong UNTIL....one day there was a fight in the yard and the Foxie although he didn't start it certainly ended it.
