Hi Elin, I bought the Helping Hand a few years ago and have not used it much. This model has a clamp-like a grooming arm that attaches it to the table. The part that hold the dryer is so strong that I worry that it will crush my dryer-I never can get the dog and dryer in the right position. You need to consider how it clamps to the table and what holds the dryer. The stand is strong enough that the dryer does not weight it down. I know most people resort to putting the dryer in the shirt or apron-now I know why:)
