Hi Sheena, The virus is not coming from this list, but from someone that has a post from this list sitting in their "in" box. This list is set up to strip attachements, so if you ever get a message that "appears" to be from this list that contains an attachment...delete it!
>From what I understand about this virus, is that it sends everyone that has a note sitting in your "in" box a message with the attached virus. It is not a bad idea to set your mail program up to have different folders and filter the mail into those folders, so very little mail would be sitting in your "in" box. I am getting about 20 messages a day right now infected with the badtrans virus. Fortunately Norton has picked them all up, but I will say that I have made a habit of never opening up attachements unless it is pictures that I am expecting from someone or my database for an upcoming show. Other than that...I just delete attachments. It is too bad that these people that write these virus's can't think of more positive things to do with their free time...ggrrr.
