I read that this Badtrans virus doesn't even require an attachment - i.e.,
if the recipient just clicks on the infected email, you're cooked (unless
you have up-to-date antivirus software).  And the key here is "up-to-date" -
the other day  someone's computer (whose antivirus program was set to update
automatically once a week) got infected 12 hours before the automatic update
was to take place.  So if you hear about a virus going around, update
immediately (and every day for a while after that).

Dear List -
         I too am getting literally dozens of this badtrans virus on a
daily basis and fortunately, my Norton is updated and quarantines them all
but I have noticed they don't have attachments. They are just blank
messages that say "unsent 1" if you open them. It is really odd that mine
show no attachments. Does anyone else have the same experience?
