Pam -- I DON'T and WOULD NEVER give both shots together...in fact, i HATE
even having to have the dogs get them separately...but Rabies is required in
NYS and the DHP is necessary as far as I'm concerned. I've tried to get the
vet to administer 1/2 rabies doses when they were puppies-- but it's against
the law to do so in NYS.
I only gave the prices as an example, because when I had asked the fancy vet
office the costs -- I was so shocked that I wanted to find out what the
breakdown would be for shots without the office exam. Thanks for the warning
-- and I'm sorry --- didn't mean to alarm you.
