Hi, Liz,
As this was a cardiology lecture for vets I didn't get into the
treatment, but he suggested it was a nutrition based problem in
general. My suspician is that he would have answered that one should
get a blood panel and determine if there is anemia and then determine
treatment with a nutrionist or vet.
If I get a chance to speak to him again I'll ask. (He is moderating the
whole cardiology track including the clinical aspects).
I think if I see puppy murmurs I'll evaluate my weaning food a bit more
carefully.........
