Before I post the results, I must apologize for any mistakes. I did not
buy a catalog, as I was appalled at the costs of entering the door.
After the $10.00 fee for parking and the $10.00 fee to get IN (for my
husband as I was only showing one dog) I was not going to add to the
cost of this entry which now totaled $48.00 for the one day by buying a
catalog. (I did find that there is a secret special orange arm band
available to those who know where to find them; Gary did..<G> which
admit the wearer for free).
Apparently others felt put off by this as there were only three owner
handlers in the ring and the total show count is down each of the four
days. A real shame as the show is a good venue with ample parking and
grooming space and tons of vendors; it should be a lot of fun at
Christmas time to show there, but, at least in Cavaliers it was not much
fun. Usually, I've managed to have fun with friends at shows and that
was not possible today as all stayed away but three brave souls. Please
note that I am NOT grousing at pro handlers here, just stating that this
show has gotten to be a whole lot less fun. Maybe we can "support" an
entry next year?
