Certainly, I recognize most of them -- my point was, many posts ago, how many of these were seen by a cardiologist? I do not have my list infront of me and maybe you listed only those dogs that were seen by a cardiologist. Funny that you should list Ch. Barzac the Palio first as I have a daughter of his, now 11 yrs old, who first was diagnosed with a grade I murmur at 8 - 9 yrs of age. She is now 11 yrs and not on any heart meds at all.
As everyone knows, the recommendation worldwide is to clear breeding stock of heart disease by a Board Certified Cardiologist. We have seen through posts on this list that more and more cardiology clinics are springing up in the various countries to assist breeders in their efforts to have their stock cleared at reasonable cost and with reasonable convenience. Also, from posts on this list, we have learned of the various heart related pilot programs initiated by Cavalier breed clubs throughout the world. I commend these Cavalier clubs as it is a step in the right direction to reduce the incidence of MVD in Cavaliers worldwide.
