I have had pet doors for years, and wouldn't be without one. I don't know why I hesitated so long. Well, I do know. But, all the reasons were wrong. The dogs love them sooooo much! But, the flap definitely needs to be replaced yearly or there is too much air flow. I replaced the flap kind with plexiglass. What a charm! Much quieter and totally minimal airflow!
