Nope, Flope, it doesn't.  If you know your mating pair's colour
inheritance (i.e. colours of parents and possibly grandparents if
you've not bred them before) you sit down and do your little
punnet square (see John Evans' book) and hey presto! you know what you might
get.  Honest!!
