Thanks for the suggestions. I actually do have Neutrogena conditioner
on hand (for myself) but had never thought to try it for Remy due to my
uncertainty as to whether the pH in a product for humans would be ok for
dogs.
I don't actually need a detangler per se because nightly brushing
prevents that most of the time, and I do prefer to avoid silicone. I
noticed on the websites I found for Ice on Ice there was no mention that it
contains silicone, so I'm glad I asked the list!
In diet, I do use oils but will look into Lipiderm and such. Re
brushing, I've been using a pin brush and a slicker, but think Suze's
suggestion of a fine comb is also a good one; I tried a flea comb (bought
many years ago, never needed for fleas) but think that must be *too* fine.
I think way back someone mentioned using "greyhound" combs; anyone know if
that's the best kind to look for (and if it's not quite as fine as flea
combs?).
