Karen You might try one of Ellie'e hair drying coats. They work great on spay and neuter coats for laying down that excess hair. The front fits similar to a snood except the ears are out - so the neck hair would be included in the "slim-fit" style. They have worked wonders on a number of my retired oldies who have unmanageable hair :o)
