I am surprised no one has written in about the Rose City Classic this past
weekend. I only watched the Cavaliers showing one day, and to tell you the
truth I have no idea who won or any of that stuff. I am sorry, I don't keep
up with the conformation stuff.

However, I would like to brag on my Heather. It was a good and bad weekend.

Heather qualified in both her novice regular agility runs with a second and
a third place. Her times were really good. She also qualified in a jumpers
with weaves with a second place. We were DQed on her second attempt at
jumpers -- that tunnel was way more exciting than the next jump we were to
take. There were no other qualifiers in that run in her class and she had
the best time of any of them and that included doing the tunnel TWICE! I
was really proud of her.

Obedience was a sorry affair, although better than our last attempt, thank
goodness. Marginal heel on leash, perfect stand for examination, LOUSY heel
off leash, nice recall and a finish and perfect sits and downs.

Anyhow, had a good time. It was fun watching the other agility runs,
espcially a basset hound. I finally got to meet up with Heather's breeder,
so that was nice.

Hilary
