It doesn't happen often but I have had a few that had the equivalent to
"morningsickness". Of course, in dogs it doesn't happen in the morning, but
they go off their food at the beginning of the second trimester which would
be about right for your girl.
All the best,
Susan Cochran

Subject: [CKCS-L] Pregnancy question

My Swedish import is 3 1/2 weeks bred and has refused to eat dinner for 3 -
4 days. She is happy to munch on a few milkbones during the day but even
leftovers added to dinner are being dismissed. I cooked up some ground
venison which she deigned to eat tonight....is this behavior common in
Cavaliers? Rottweiler bitches eat everything in sight always (even when not
pregnant) so I don't have much to go on. Thanks for any info.
