Having worked as a Vet Tech for several years quite a while ago now, I used to
assist in the C-section surgeries in that I dealt mostly with the anesthesia
and made sure that the bitch was under but not too far under anesthesia.

Now, as a client, I get to assist in the reviving of the puppies as they come
out. Far less stressful really as they are usually in good shape.

C-sections is probably a far more medically controlled environment for puppies
to be born than the natural birth. If there is a problem the bitch can be
attended to medically and there is no frantic drive to the Emergency Clinic at
2 am!!! Whilst we breeders would prefer not to have C-sections, if they are
done correctly, things work out very well.
