What my vet wanted to do years ago on a puppy that I recieved as a show
prospect was to pin the jaw. She arrived at 12 weeks with a perfect bite but
by 16 weeks was wildly undershot. My vets solution was to pin the lower jaw
to stop it from growing and to allow the upper jaw to catch up. The trick he
said was to know when to remove the pin. Needless to say I did not do this
and Hayley at 13 is still very undershot - but happy :o) But unethical
people will find a way to cheat - don't kid yourself :o)
