hi roseanne,
i think it would depend on the dog.  i know of a deerhound breeder that would
use her male with 2 dfferent bitches on the same day and they always took.
when doing sperm checks, i have done collections 24 hours apart and sometimes
less and there is still live sperm. i think tho, waiting 48 hours between
breedings helps to keep the volume up.
