Myra
I'm brand new to Cavaliers - but have shown in AKC shows quite a bit
over the years -
The puppy class is where most people go to 'train their puppy' to get
used to things -the judges usually allow a bit of leeway for lack of
'polish' in that class -
The BBE class is a great place to 'move up to' in that there probably
won't be the volume of competition there as you'd get in the Open class
-- I've know people to take dogs that were a bit 'goofy acting' or
otherwise not up to the tight competition in the Open ring to the BBE or
the American Bred classes - where they get to compete for Winners easier
-- they get that 2nd chance for the Judge to consider them --
Just a few thoughts --

Joan
