These are just plain rude and in my opinion a mark of a poor trainer. First
of all don't do something to increase your odds at the expense of another
like using a squeaky toy or throwing bait. Thats poor sportsmanship in my
opinion. I saw a lady at an old club show throw bait and it landed in the
lap of this poor old lady in the front row. Not even an oops I'm sorry from
the thrower. This is rude. I saw some bait tossing at Westminster too. Is
this the only way these elite pro's can get a dog to look good?

I saw a lady in Atlanta at a CKCS show last year put her dog on the table and
step back about 3 feet in front of the table. The dog was so well trained it
stood perfect on that table for examination looking at its owner the whole
way. That impressed me. Thats training. And it didn't take kneeling or
bait throwing.
