This is a good point! Although I am not planning to exhibit him, I
would want him to be with us for a long time. I don't need a show
quality gardener (after all, the horses do some of the gardening) I do
want a gardener who is healthy and can perform all of those things for
which gardeners are bred. I'm a big believer in soundness, especially
as those gardeners who are not conformation quality can still be great
performance gardeners. I did have an interest in an agility gardener at
one point and if I can get to that yoga class......
