Thank you to Stephanie for her post and bringing perspective to what a wonderful event
this was. Also I want to add to the posting that Roxy did on the entries that due to
a gross negligent oversight on behalf of MB-F my dog,

Ch Shenandoah Danzig was not listed in the catalog. He is sired by Ch Elvenhome Keep
Going and his dam is Shenandoah Danzig, DOB is 10/19/99, TN94664401 and he is co-owned
by myself and Sally Minetree and owner handled by me. He was next to his dad in the
line up and he showed beautifully!

Even after spending over 4 hours on Sunday at the Superintendents table attempting to
clear up their HUGE MISTAKE that resulted from an irresponsible "professional handler"
out there. I still found the delight and wonder of being in the Garden for the first
time and the joy of handling my wonderful Berkeley in the ring and showing him off to
the spectators in the benching area. I am very proud to be one of those novices that
you all are discussing and want to remind each of you that at one time you were once
one - you are only as good as the people around you and to pass your knowledge on to
the novices is what results from true passion for the breed. Yes, I am forever
grateful to a lot of you for your insight, guidance and support in the past 15 months
and I am also amazed at the lack of professionalism in a lot of handlers ( I purposely
left off professional because a lot are far from being professional!)

And I agree with Stephanie - say what you will - there is a true magic being there,
being at Westminster for me was a coup and I enjoyed it and it was even more wonderful
than I every imagined regardless of the $%#@ up by MB-F and some rude WKC officers it
was still something I will cherish as a lifetime memory!

For Heaven's sakes, people--If we are going to talk about the Garden
can't we talk about something other than whether or not a handler
touched her knee to the floor? I was lucky to atttend and see a great
many fine dogs, some of them amateur handled, and many of them
recognized either by the judge and/or the gallery. It was a lovely
gathering--I believe there were 34 entered and 27 present.
It was particularly interesting to me to see many
"dyed-in-the-wool" dog people--respected breeders and judges, 3-deep
around the ring. Many came by the benching to get a good close look at
the dogs. Say what you will about politics, overcrowding, and NYC
expenses---there is real "magic" at the Garden.
