I found this step very interesting when we flew home with Justine --
In Europe, they held the sherpa bag, with her in it, while I walked
through the machine, then handed her to me on the other side [guess they
just figured she was too cute to be 'hiding' anything - the sherpa bag
was never scanned at all!]
In the US, they asked me to remove her from the bag & carry her through
in my arms, while the sherpa bag went through the scanner like my purse
& such -- I can hardly believe my memory is so terrible - I can't
remember if I stepped through the metal detector holding her or if we
passed her around it - She had no collar on, so she wouldn't have set it
off - and I can't remember ---
