> Has anyone had a bitch that got pregnant after being bred at 22 days?

If they ovulate late, they need to be bred late. There are bitches who
ovulate very late. I have not personally known a Cavalier that did this
late, but it is possible. If the bitch wasn't progesterone tested before
(and her date of ovulation was therefore not known) I would probably have
her progesterone tested immediately after being bred--whether purposefully
or accidentally--at that late stage. The result would tell you what you
need to know. If a couple of days have already passed--it will be wait and
see time. Highly unlikely, but still possible.
