And BRAVO to you, Pam, for having the courage to bring this up and the stamina to stay with it against those who would say this is trivial and you are being petty. You are correct, there are MANY who do agree with you, myself included. I was once under the tutalage of a breeder who told me (and anyone else who would listen) "that winning is EVERYTHING" !!! I learned a lot about what is wrong with the Cavalier 'show world' and much about how I didn't want to behave from this situation. I'm gald to hear someone speaking up and, quite eloquently, I might add.
