I agree with JoAnn. There is nothing worse than seeing a trimmed cavalier. We should discourage it completely. I also have poodles and up until recently been only a fancier and judge of cavaliers. So it may sound funny that I am so against trimming. While we are at it I don't like cavaliers to be raced around the ring . I think it destroys the whole outline and the character of this little dog. Elaine
