Has anyone had there dog eat 2 partial blades and plastic handle survive? I am really scared... took her to the vet at 12:30 and waited until they could x-ray her.
They showed me the x-rays and found a partial still in the stomach and another partial already digested. One looks like the piece that has two hooks and attaches to the plastic is stuck in the wall of the stomach. The surgery vet wants to get two more opinions before we proceed. Her experience with bigger dogs was to give them high fiber and let them pass it on through as waste. Her concern is she is small 16 lbs. and may cause bowl damage, infection, etc. This is my first bred ruby who won Bred by Exhibitor back to back and she has a litter just 3 weeks old. I am going to call another specialist in Charleston for her suggestions. Please pray she makes it. Of course, any positive experiences or suggestions are welcome. I have shed more than a few tears as she is my favorite girl.
