Hi List, I admire those of you who are willing to come to the list to get advice on controversial topics such as debarking. All of us can justify what we do as right or we wouldn't do it. If you stop and think about how you justify your choices maybe they aren't so different from the choices you condemn. It is hard for me to see the difference in the genetically altered dog and the cosmetically altered dog. Some how I can see my Aussies with their docked tails as a little closer to what "God intended" than say a Pug or a Bulldog or even my Cavalier. However you choose to justify it, the domestic dog is altered from it's natural state at one time or another.
