Renee,

I asked my vet one time why one of our local vets was still allowed to
practice. He has a terrible reputation, and really is incompetent. I've
heard horror stories about him from 4-5 different people. My vet said that
it was extremely difficult for a vet to have his license revoked. She said
that, unfortunately, pets are not thought of the same as people, and it is
much more difficult to have anything done about a vet than a human doctor.

I wonder if it's different in different states.
