At williamsburg this past weekend there was very good participation in both the eye and heart clinics (I think I heard the number of pre-paid for hearts was 52). Pat Winters diligently manned the heart desk sitting in a small hallway rather then mingling and watching the show (both days due to a mix up) all due to her dedication to the breed and commitment to health testing. I wish I knew the name of the lady who did the same for the eye testing to thank her but maybe someone can throw that out to the list who knows. I for one appreciate the volunteer time and effort to make these clinics available to everyone. We were fortunate once again to get a clean bill of health on ours that were tested both eyes and hearts and now are two for two on crossing the 5 year mark and still clear (knock on wood). Get out there and have your dogs tested folks and then share the information both good and bad. These actions are truly in the best interest of the breed!
