The only male I allow upstairs "unsupervised" is my 4-year-old. He is a perfect gentleman indoors. Out of doors, I have to keep him on lead when the crew first goes out as he'll go mark all the other dogs (girls first) If I let him loose with them before they're done. All my dogs respond to "NO!", however I think it's a challenge to have a male with a "harem" and trust him completely.
