There has been lots of talk about a handler finishing a bitch yesterday - and I've not read all of the posts - cannot remember the show this happened at -- however -> The Tar Heel Circuit is currently going on in North Carolina - This Circuit and the Apple Blossom Circuit next month are both known (in AKC circles) as 'handler circuits' - and there is a very large percentage of dogs being professionally handled at these shows - always! And yes, the judges do seem to often put up the 'known' handler. Sometimes this is because of confusion on the part of the judge, possibly - and sometimes this professional 'presents' better than the owner-handler - sometimes -
I was at Raleigh earlier this week and, to stir up an old subject, the professional handler sure did KNEEL DOWN showing their Cavaliers - all the way to a Group 1 --- Oh well - he was a lovely dog - and I had a hard time not saying something loud enough to be heard <grin> Joan ========================================================= "Magic Commands": to stop receiving mail for awhile, click here and send the email: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20NOMAIL to start it up gain click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20MAIL E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] for assistance.
