Well, I am seeing today that some people would consider it unsafe. However,
I use it myself mixed up in a little pot to clean spots on the carpet and my
clothes and I've never had any side effects from it and I have pretty
sensitive skin. I've used it to remove those pinkish stains off of feet and
it worked really well. I just put a scoop in a big pan of water and let
their feet soak for five minutes in it. It removed maybe 85% of the stain.
Then I rinsed really well, shampooed the dog and the feet and used a good
leave in conditioner all over. The only side effect that it had was to
remove the pink stain. It hasn't come back and it's been 2-3 months since I
used it. The fur is in good shape. Also, it is clearly not a bleach
because the two little freckles that are on her feet are still there and as
brown as ever. The only thing that happened was the pink stain left. If I
were going to use it on a urine stain, I would just pour it on over and over
a few times to see if the stain gets better. I wouldn't use it around the
opening to the penis, near the eyes or other body orifices. Myra
