I feel we should be respectful at any show venue...If I am in the audience I
take detailed notes on each dogs that "drives my interest" so I can
understand their strengths and weaknesses as "I" view them. Than I double
check my observations with a very experienced and successful breeder in a
private respectful manner. This is not to "tear the dog down", but to
understand the bloodlines and how it adds to the "whole package"...also to
confirm that my observations has some validity and hopefully, to gain
understanding of what "I" perceive.

My belated Father always told me that you have to be born with the gift to
visualize geometric angles...you can cognitively teach it to someone without
that gift, but they will never have the equal ability to visualize them...so
that is why there is such diversity in what each person's perceives

So I feel in dogs there are some individuals who can truly visualize the
"whole package" and others have been taught to understand the "whole
package" ...and thirdly individuals you have made the decision to refuse to
learn due to ego..."Hey they win so what do they have to learn".

To sum this up...That is why more breed education is needed to reach many
different types of learners. We must drop "ego" to learn. This is the
reason why I am open to actively listen, synthesize, and apply...evaluate
and reapply while embracing new information...it is like putting together
different puzzles!!! And I am having fun while doing this!!!

Just Food for Thought...
