I think the key to beautiful movement is *balance.* If angulation
front and rear is the same or close to it, you theoretically have a dog
who can move well, with a tendency to single track as he picks up
speed. But if you have *correct* angulation you have a dog who will
move with more reach and drive. Straight stifles and straight shoulders
do not make a bad mover per se, just an inadequate one--because those
dogs do not cover much ground compared to the ones with "well laid back
shoulders" coupled with "well turned stifles." Add proper proportion
and a correct topline--these are the Cavaliers who just sail around the
ring seemingly without effort--they can take your breath away.
