Well, I have been lurking on this list for a few months and have learned quite a bit. I wasn't sure exactly what it was that was going to bring me out of lurking, but I have just discovered what I consider to be the greatest product that I have bought for my dogs. It is the HooverFloormate. http://www.hoover.com After caring for my litter of 9 puppies and not getting much sleep for the last two weeks, I just couldn't face the mop bucket one more day. With 3 days in a row of 50+ degree temperatures (Springtime in Minnesota) that have turned our backyard into what we not so fondly refer to as Lake Baillie, our floors were a mess. I had seen this product on TV and decided to give it a try. I was amazed. We cleaned floors in three rooms in less than 20 minutes and they were cleaner than they have ever been before. I have no affiliation with this company. I just think it is one of the best products I have ever purchased (especially since I have had more than one dog). I will never buy a mop again!
One more thing--thanks to Myra Savant for the advice on a large litter. We have followed it and all 9 puppies have survived and are thriving. They are now all over 1 pound.
